This gripper features 3 moving fingers. Two of them are configured with a spring compliance mechanism that aids in gripping and holding objects. The third finger is an opposable thumb. The thumb is able to pass between the fingers during closure to grip a wide range of object sizes. The internal edges of the fingers and the finger tips are serrated to improve grip. Fingers and frame are made from black anodized 6061 aluminum. The gripper is mounted on a rotating wrist assembly that provides 250 degrees of travel. Both the wrist function and the gripper functions are powered with 5VDC and respond to standard RC PWM input signals. They will plug in and work like a standard hobby servo.
